UI/UX Researcher

FIAT DAO is the digital cooperative stewarding development of the FIAT protocol. FIAT, short for Fixed Income Asset Token, allows users to access leverage against their fixed income positions across DeFi.

We are looking for a curious UI/UX researcher to ensure high usability of the primary FIAT protocol interface and any subsequent external integrations. You will be asked to understand the primary users of the protocol, how they interact with its applications, and what blockers may exist for wider adoption. Your understanding of FIAT DAO will be informed by the competitive landscape and feedback from key stakeholders. You should be able to clearly communicate your findings in both qualitative and quantitative media to your colleagues and the wider FIAT DAO community.

You will be asked to perform the following responsibilities:

• Establish user experience (UX) research practices within the product design team
• Create personas and customer journeys
• Consult and collaborate with product design and frontend development teams
• Create clear graphics to accompany complex technical documentation
• Conduct user interviews to gain insights
• Assess ease of use of external integrations
• Present regular updates to FIAT DAO community

We are on the lookout for the following qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in UI/UX work in Web2.0 or Web3
• Proficient in modern design tools (e.g., Figma) and data visualization
• Comfortable interfacing with other DAO teams and members
• English fluency
