About us

Hawksight is a Trade-to-Earn Solana-based protocol for decentralized, non-custodial investment management and quantitative trading. Our goal is to democratize data-driven investments, by making it easy for anybody to invest, create, or manage top-performing funds and trading strategies in Cryptocurrency, DeFi, NFT and Synthetic Assets.

Building on the Solana ecosystem enables us to achieve the scalability, user-friendliness, speed, and security required to fulfill our mission and accelerate the mainstream adoption of DeFi.

Job description:

1. Develop smart contracts for Hawksight’s decentralized application
2. Optimize smart contract operations to minimize latency, and computational cost
3. Closely collaborate with product managers, UX / frontend developers, and backend engineers on the rollout of new features within target timelines
4. Constantly communicate progress to stakeholders in a way that is both timely and transparent
5. Setup CI/CD pipelines for the code base (e.g. gitlab, github)
6. Implement source control workflows (e.g. gitlab, github)
7. Share technical expertise with the overall team

Requirements:

1. Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent. Although also open to experienced career shifters.
2. At least 1 Year of relevant working experience building DApps with Rust
3. Expertise in developing smart contracts
4. Has developed smart contracts on Solana or other blockchains
5. Strong conceptual understanding of the Solana Program Library (SPL), and the general Solana ecosystem
6. Source control, and CI/CD workflow familiarity
7. Aligned with our vision of democratizing data driven investments
8. Understands that practically solving problems is more important than using the most advanced methodology

Plus if:

1. Experience building on other chains like Terra, Avalanche, Ethereum, etc
2. Has built a DeFi dapp that involves the management of user deposits and withdrawals
3. Javascript / Typescript to support smart contract interfacing from frontend side (web3)
4. Invests in crypto / NFTs / etc
5. Interested in the investments space
