Front-End Developer

Overview

We are looking for a Front-End Developer to architect, develop, test, and deploy front-end infrastructure for novel dashboarding, analytics and published research.

The ideal candidate will have excellent React proficiency, strong technical leadership, a keen understanding of financial concepts, and a consistent track record solving critical engineering problems.

This a contract role, 3-8 months in duration. There’s an opportunity for full-time employment down the road.

Responsibilities

• Write performant, clean, and re-usable React code
• Familiarity with Next.js, MERN Stack, JAMstack is a plus
• Translate our mockups into user-friendly dashboards
• Define a long-term vision for maintaining and scaling our frontend
• Create trustworthy user experiences by building interfaces that are simple, easy to comprehend, performant and reliable
• Contribute to high-level decisions about the front-end architecture
• Help turn our vision into a tangible roadmap by working with engineers, product managers, and senior leadership, by taking ownership and driving projects forward
• Work at a rapid pace with a large amount of ownership and autonomy

Requirements & skills:

• 3+ years UI development experience
• Well-versed in responsive web design
• Self-motivated with a high level of autonomy
• Passion for writing clean and testable code
• Excellent communication skills as our entire team is remote
• English proficiency
