Introduction

Swell is looking for an exceptional, experienced, and self-motivated Head of Product to join our growing team of core contributors. Swell is looking for folks who live and breathe the space and are excited at the prospect of working with a project that is at the absolute bleeding edge of this technological revolution.

This is a full-time role with strong autonomy and independence with the ability to carve and shape your contributions to a protocol that is mission-driven and purpose-led to deliver the next-generation of staking.

Responsibilities

• Managing full product development lifecycle in line with Swell’s technology roadmap and strategy, consistent with best practice principles of DeFi building
• Advocating user experience and needs, ensuring that they are reflected in product design, capabilities, and features; supported by deep understanding of product management and user motivations and intent
• Conducting extensive stakeholder and user research, including current and emerging use cases for Swell’s DeFi product suite, across retail and institutional settings
• Leading internal and external teams to embed agile product delivery, prioritising security and excellence from concept to iterative delivery
• Staying on top of the rapid innovation in staking protocols, including driving utility, composability, and liquidity for Swell Network for both DeFi and the wider crypto ecosystem
• Thriving in the fast-paced nature of the blockchain / crypto / DeFi market
• Working collaboratively with team members and partners across projects
• Leading with intellectual curiosity with a high standard of excellence

Desired Experience

• 2+ years commercial experience in Web3 / crypto / DeFi projects
• Comprehensive experience in product management, UX, business, and technology
• Proven expertise in user research / needs analysis and translating this to product
• Strong understanding of blockchain and Ethereum
• Bonus: Proven background in leading DeFi product development focussed on staking applications
