Great news! I am glad the judge made the decision quickly too. I am a lawyer, but I handle personal injury cases, so I honestly did not know what to expect on the motion to dismiss. Big win. Just round one, but at least you will move forward!

I think everyone here who can spare $6 should do so. Your values and beliefs are sometimes costly, and I think $6 is fair. There's a lawyer, Jeff Childers, who writes a substack called coffee and covid. He does a multiplier thing where he brings awareness to a cause and he asks everyone to donate whatever they can but the amount has to end in 2 so he can track the donations. His last multiple raised $120,000 in 1 day with small donations. Let's bring it to his attention but also anyone who reads this take a moment to donate... No matter how small. We may not be many. We may not be rich (some of us) but together we can do this!
Judges want to leave a legacy. A case which can be a landmark. One that is talked about for years if not decades. I think Judge Alsup sees a case that can establish his creds as a rule of law judge while issuing a landmark ruling
