Not thinking about death doesn’t erase it so I’m working on having more of these kinds of “adult” conversations.

I want them to play “Ding Dong, the Witch is Dead” at my funeral, and I hope people honor me by laughing and getting plastered.

Led Zeppelin’s Stairway to Heaven seems to be appropriate for me, just saying. Fav group and song.

That was a cool song 🎵, glad you shared that bit of information. I have one maybe more but my favorite is “Don’t worry be happy “ by Bobby McFerrin just because I don’t want anyone to worry about my soul and where I’ll end up.

i hope you live a long, healthy, prosperous life too! that was a cool song :-) i've never heard of that band before, but now i'll have to check them out!

i've never really thought about what i'd play at my funeral because my family have all sort of agreed we're not into funerals. but i think i'd probably like something old school like this:

i recently lost a dear friend quite suddenly, and i can't stop playing this song (i'm not even religious, but he was, and i hope he would like it)

That was a good song that I've never heard before. Thanks for the share. My pick for a my funeral song is strange. Lowlands lol. Just thought it would be awesome for my guests to hear, and I like the lyrics. This can be loud, so turn it down if you give it a listen.

I’m familiar with Greta Van Fleet but don’t know this song I will have to check it out! I still can’t get over how much their lead singer sounds EXACTLY like Robert Plant!

I guess I’m in a contemplative mood because I can’t decide between three different chill multi-layer songs for my funeral. In no particular order

Dry The Rain- The Beta Band

Come Downstairs and Say Hello- Guster

Something Beautiful- Alexi Murdoch

I’d be happy with any of these (but maybe especially Dry The Rain).

They’re all pretty, have great grooves and surprises, and any one of them would (hopefully) have everyone at the funeral either grooving or singing along or both.
