The Absolute Danger Of Biden’s Disinformation Governance Board
We should all be very concerned with how far we have allowed the fifth columnists to go with manipulating speech and our right to free speech. From the absurd notion of political correctness to social media and internet censorship to the newly created DHS Disinformation Governance Board, in the “information age” we are less free to express ourselves – especially politically – than ever before.
Efforts to combat disinformation, “fake news,” and propaganda culminating in the censorship of free speech are nothing new. This is not some newly created virus that has exploded onto the scene. It has been around from the beginning and has been used against the American people as far back as the genesis of our country.
The Stain of Censorship in American History
Seldom have past attempts to censor free speech in the United States come with the full-throatiness of the federal government. But it has occurred.
John Adams, for all of his contributions to freedom and our Republic, let his vanity get the better of him in the signing of a law that made it illegal to criticize a government official without backing up one's criticisms in court. That law was overturned after his loss to Thomas Jefferson in the election of 1800.
Congress passed the Comstock Law in 1873, forbidding the use of the US Postal Service for the delivery of erotica, contraceptives, abortifacients, sex toys, personal letters alluding to any sexual content or information, or any information regarding the above items. The law is responsible for the destruction of 15 tons of books, almost 4,000,000 pictures, and 284,000 pounds of printing plates for making “objectionable” books. The law was repealed, for the most part, in 1919 and 1965, and completely in 1972.
During the fascist Wilson Administration, the Sedition Act of 1918 was enacted, which prohibited speech that cast the government or the war effort in World War I in a negative light. It also forbade speech that interfered with the sale of government bonds. The law was repealed on December 13, 1920.
This attack on free speech continued in the equally fascist Roosevelt administration with the creation of the Office of Censorship, established under the guise of protecting war-time secrets during World War II. Under Executive Order 8985, the director of the Office of Censorship held the ability to open and read every letter that crossed international or US territorial borders from December 1941 to August 1945 when it was repealed.
This continued into the era of McCarthyism, into the Russian-influenced cultural wars of the 1960s and 1970s, epitomized in the full complement of network news outlets propagandizing about the Tet Offensive during the Vietnam War being a failure when, in fact, it was an overwhelming success.
In 2014, then-President Obama was the target of a public letter signed by representatives from 38 journalist organizations criticizing his administration’s efforts to “stifle or block” news coverage of its actions. The blocking of information was attributed to executive authority under the Espionage Act. This was in spite of Mr. Obama’s 2008 campaign promises to provide transparency.
This brings us to today and President Biden’s move (and I think we can dispense with the Biden “beard” to say the Jarrett Cabal) in establishing the Disinformation Governance Board under the authority of the Department of Homeland Security. The irony that it was announced after the fascist Left’s grip on Twitter was shattered is not lost on the writer.
Biden Competes With The Fascism Of Wilson And FDR
Disinformation, in its contemporary meaning (we all know how Progressives/Fascists like to play with word meanings), reads thusly:
“...false information deliberately and often covertly spread (as by the planting of rumors) in order to influence public opinion or obscure the truth.”
As clear-cut as that definition may be, the concept of disinformation – which is quite different from “misinformation” due to its deliberate nature – must take a knee to one very important aspect: the arbiter of what is “false”; what is “truth.”
Just as with the glaring subjectivity and relativism used to apply the label “hate speech” and the charges of “hate crimes,” the meaning – what constitutes the hate or disinformation – is all in the eyes of the arbiter; of the deciding person(s) idea of what hate or disinformation is. This leaves the entire purview of the decider, of the arbiter, wholly contaminated by personal biases.
So, the question is this. Who gets to decide what disinformation and “hate” actually are? A politician? A Bureaucrat? The mainstream media complex? Social media censors? Is there anyone on the face of the planet that: a) trusts any of those entities enough to cede their right to free speech to them, and b) doesn’t see this as a dangerous and manipulative scheme to attain power ala the speech and thought control associated with Orwell’s 1984?
Those who are puppet mastering the Biden presidency have openly and transparently proved themselves admirers of the fascist ideologies of Wilson and FDR. In fact, the argument can be made that they are striving to surpass both administrations to fully deliver the United States government to the oligarchic fascism of world governance.
The Unqualified Will Determine The Truth
That understood, it is imperative for the fascists of the Biden administration to control their narratives at all costs. This has led to the creation of the Disinformation Governance Board under Nina Jankowicz. But who is Ms. Jankowicz?
Jankowicz, who has a lust for the spotlight (as you will soon see) Received her B.A. from Bryn Mawr College, double-majoring in Russian and political science, and spent a semester at Herzen State Pedagogical University in Russia. She was a Fulbright-Clinton Public Policy fellow in Kyiv, working with the foreign ministry of Ukraine, and – until her appointment into the Biden administration, served as a “disinformation fellow” at the Woodrow Wilson Center and as supervisor of the Russia and Belarus programs at the National Democratic Institute.
But, before we move on, we should spotlight the talents of Ms. Jannkowicz. This exercise in soul-searched transparency should tell you all you need to know about her motivation:
But enough sampling of Jankowicz’s raw talent.
Normally, Jankowicz’s educational and political sphere achievements would constitute a pretty impressive curriculum vitae – aside from the Clinton-Russia connection, the Biden-Ukraine connection, and the fact that she deals in disinformation for an entity celebrating the most fascist American president in history. But Jankowicz’s glaring and numerous errors on very important topics expose her extreme political biases and, therefore, disqualifies her from being an impartial arbiter in divining disinformation. Jankowicz shouldn’t be anywhere near the position to which she was appointed.
Jankowicz took a hard stand in declaring that the Hunter Biden laptop story was nothing more than a “Trump campaign product.” In October of 2020, she tweeted, “Back on the ‘laptop from hell,’ apparently – Biden notes 50 former natsec officials and 5 former CIA heads that believe the laptop is a Russian influence op. Trump says ‘Russia, Russia, Russia.’”
The “seasoned” disinformation expert also booted the call on the credibility of Christopher Steele and his infamous dossier. In a tweet that she has astonishingly not deleted, she lauded the former MI6 officer’s expertise on the subject of – again, astonishingly – disinformation.
In an April 2020 Buzzfeed article, Jankowicz criticized the notion that the COVID virus could have been released – whether intentionally or not – from the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China:
“...the claim that the Wuhan Institute of Virology could have been the origin of the novel coronavirus left the fringe and entered the American conservative mainstream in early April...
“All these campaigns are preying on people's desires to know more about the situation...It bothers people that we can't pinpoint where this virus came from...[But] it becomes more politically convenient for Trump and his administration the further we get into this maelstrom, especially in comparison to the Chinese response.”
Jankowicz The ‘Oracle’
And then there are Jankowicz’s apparently omnipotent prognostications about events yet to come.
In June of 2016, the disinformation oracle predicted that a Trump presidency would enable and embolden the Islamofascist terror group ISIS. In what can only be seen as an arrow of evil from the bow of Satan himself into the buttock of the oracle, Jankowicz was proven demonstrably wrong when ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi joined Osama bin Laden in realizing there were no virgins to have in paradise and the Islamic State caliphate collapsed, all during the Trump administration.
So too did Jankowicz lament about the dangers associated with Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter and the uncertainty that “free speech absolutists” bring to the country (let’s all remember we have an inalienable right to free speech in the United States):
“I shudder to think about if free speech absolutists were taking over more platforms, what that would look like for the marginalized communities...which are already shouldering...disproportionate amounts of this abuse.”
Ironically, in a June 2020 interview – and one can only believe that it was because President Trump was addressing the subject (he later determined it wasn’t constitutional), Jankowicz objected to the creation of the very position she now fills. In the interview, she was sharply critical of the federal government having the ability to determine what is real news and “fake news,” mentioning Poland’s “Ministry of Digitalization” as an example of “fodder” for “anti-democratic online governance.”
“I would never want to see our executive branch have that sort of power,” she said.
Yet she accepted the position when it was offered to her. We should all listen to her singing talents again and consider her motivation.
The Deterioration Of Free Speech

Every instance of an act being executed to the cause of the “common good” has, eventually, led to an attempt to install totalitarianism and, at the very least, marginalize those not in lockstep with the ideology of the ruling class.
To date, acts that transgress the inalienable rights – as codified first and foremost in the First Amendment – to freedom of speech and redress of government have been few. But those attempts are growing and the creation of the new Disinformation Governance Board is a dangerous and glaring step toward totalitarianism if ever one presented. It dwarfs the attempts made by Adams, Grant, Wilson, FDR, and Obama and that it exists under the Department of Homeland Security should be viciously troubling.
Every politician, community organizer, and activist knows that controlling the narrative is of the utmost importance. That control affords them the power to direct the conversation and, in the most despicable of cases, to literally manipulate the truth. And when truth can be changed to suit ideological or political ends, freedom – all the way around – is lost. Once lost it is regained at the cost of lives and blood.
We saw political and elitist robber-baron greed in the purposeful manipulation of the truth during what was couched as the COVID pandemic. The President of the United States – before and after attaining office – blatantly lied to the American people along with institutions the people had come to trust to be above the political fray. Social media – in true public-private fascist form, stomped down alternative viewpoints from experts in the fields of virology and epidemiology, robbing the people of their right to knowledge and authority over their own health. Today, the Center for Disease Control & Prevention and the National Institute of Health are rightfully questioned about their motives in every statement issued.
We saw the intentional manipulation of the truth (and therefore the people) in Hillary Clinton’s commissioning and use of the wholly fictional and purposely deceptive Steele dossier in an attempt to glean votes. With the agendized sycophantic mainstream media and the censors of social media stomping down any information emerging contrary to the preferred narrative, the specter of “Russian collusion” is still championed in certain circles (can anyone say every anchor at MSNBC) to this day even though it was exposed as true and proveable disinformation. Truth is, if any collusion with foreign powers for advantage existed during the 2016 General Election it was to the advantage of the Clinton campaign.
We witnessed the purposeful manipulation of the truth in US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen’s declaration that “inflation would be transitory,” a claim bolstered by the Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome H. Powell. As the Biden administration worked feverishly to get their spendthrift agenda of irresponsible and inflationary spending passed, Yellen and Powell doubled and tripled down on the assertion, even as everyone understood it to be a lie. Only after the reality of long-term inflation was evident to even the most intellectually challenged did the Fed come clean.

Ignoring, for the moment, the affront the creation of the fascist Left’s Disinformation Governance Board is to the First Amendment – and that Mr. Biden’s pick to head the effort is a grotesque political partisan who has already proven to be a failure at the mission statement, speech is not for the government to police. It is not in their charge. They have zero authority to infringe upon the rights of the people to speak freely, write freely, and/or produce videos or podcasts speaking freely, especially when the subject is government and politics.
Not only should a torrent of lawsuits commence on this attack on our constitutionally mandated and inalienable rights to free speech and government redress, but those suits should also extend to the ideologically and subjective laws pertaining to “hate” crimes. Either something is a crime or it is not. Inserting a racial, sexual, or religious element to infer that one murder or assault is more important than another is to legitimize a lie to an unacceptable level and a level that can and does end in death.
The American people have tolerated the monstrous overstep of government into every aspect of our lives and now they exist just a few steps from being able to claim they are the creators of rights; that they are the Alpha and Omega to the people; that they rule the people rather than serve them. It is our fault for believing that activists and organizations who suck up your money under the guise of “watchdogging” the government can be trusted. They cannot.
We – you and I – must be the ones to protect our own rights and that starts, and necessarily so, with our right to free speech and our right to speak truth to power. If we lose that; if we allow government to police our speech we have lost everything and the light illuminating the shining city on the hill will be extinguished. Freedom will be a memory and the totalitarians of the global elite will become the bestowers of rights. We cannot let that happen.
