Bettina, are you able to name the college? I attended one briefly in the 1970s, so my question is partly out of curiousity, and partly out of knowing the history of the college. This had been a men's college, then in the early '70s they decided to admit women - imagining of course that this would be good for everyone and make a more balanced environment. Over the years the women have taken over and the college journal regularly features "women's issues" - ie. both decrying alleged injustice against women, and celebrating women's achievements. The cover of last year's featured the classic feminist symbol, front and centre!

If this event happened at the college I am thinking of, there would some extra irony in their admission of women in the '70s! Even if it's not the college I am thinking of, it may well be another formerly men's colllege, with a similar history.

Another Melbourne uni college, Wesley, was hit with a fake "rape" scandal a few years ago. As I recall, it was literally "rape" which was alleged. The college caved shamefully and made a big issue of it, promising to address the "culture", and the young feminists had a field day promoting the "outrage". As I recall, the boy's side of the story was convincing and supported by corroborating evidence, but was ignored (I can't recall whether he either said the sex didn't happen, or it was consensual).

The gender balance has changed , in the last 20 years or so because of our efeminate society due to the break of the traditional family the roles of each parent has changed and unfortunately we are seeing the fruits of this in each generation , more men are distancing themselves in there traditional approach to flirt and make conversation with ladies as well .Technology doesnt help as well with texting so far out of touch its ridiculous ,we are in for more craziness in this lopsided world

Sounds par for the course: a woman spurned, or a 'damages hunter'. This will make 'pastoral' roles more and more remote. No touching of any kind, not even proximity. All conversations conducted in public...not good.

The men will soon be required to wear yellow armbands on campus.

Hitler and Stalin's justice systems are now in place.

There is a rape crisis in universities now. The rape of justice.

My heart breaks for that poor young man. I wish him all the best for his big fight . Thank you for continuing to give these young men a voice. It’s so important for them to understand that they do have support and not everyone automatically believes the woman. Each instance should be taken on its merit and both parties given the same rights and belief. Unfortunately from my experience the university’s are so busy covering their backs and pushing the popular agenda of “believe all women “ they are destroying decent young men .
