Moonbug and Spotify have inked a multi-year content deal for a slate of original podcasts and audio content, starting with the popular CoComelon brand.

Launching on January 24 and aimed at preschoolers, the CoComelon Story Time podcast features 42 classic storybook tales that impart positive life lessons. It will be available on the kids and family section of Spotify’s app, as well as on the Spotify Kids app.

Spotify and Moonbug are also producing three original preschool series that will roll out in the coming months. Gardenkeeper Gus, which premieres on January 31, follows the titular six year old and his squirrel best friend as they explore the mysterious garden behind his family home. Launching on Valentine’s Day (February 14), 100 Cinderellas is an anthology series comprising a collection of Cinderella bedtime stories from different parts of the world. And finally, Deep Blue Sea will take listeners to an underwater laboratory when it releases on February 28.

This is the first major deal for CoComelon since Moonbug Entertainment was acquired by Candle Media last year.
