Job Description

The Revenue Integrity Analyst reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day-to-day functions of the Department.
  • This position will also perform the daily audit maintenance functions to ensure compliance, accuracy, and consistency of the Chargemaster.
  • Additionally, this position will assist in data analysis, quarterly audits, information queries, special projects, external audits, analysis for annual price increase, and provide overall support to the Senior Analyst(s) and Manager.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5 years of Revenue Cycle/Revenue Integrity experience
  • Knowledge of ICD-9-CM, CPT/HCPCs procedure coding along with UB-04 and 1500 billing requirements
  • Knowledge and experience with aspects Medicare/Medicaid regulations, extensive understanding of CPT coding, and other third party billing requirements
  • Knowledge of regulatory publications, how to access and interpret
  • Proficient Microsoft Office experience, with a knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, and database software

Preferred:

  • Experience with Access and Excel at a very high level
  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare related discipline. In lieu of Bachelor's, will accept 2-3 years of experience in addition to the minimum years of experience required
  • Experience with Epic software highly desired as this position will be required to become a certified Epic user for CDM Maintenance and Charge Capture, if certification is not already held
  • RHIA or RHIT credentials or work experience (e.g. Radiology technician, RN)
  • CPC or CCS-P credentials
