Twitter’s Site Integrity team works on the cutting edge of issues that affect the internet today — from combating spam, platform manipulation, and account security threats, to developing policies to protect our users. We innovate, experiment, and move at a fast pace. What You'll Do

  • Manage a team of investigators responsible for disrupting adversarial abuse at a global scale.
  • Provide guidance on complex, high-visibility cases and projects and empower your people to do the same.
  • Strengthen the team through mentorship and by developing threat investigations as a discipline at Twitter.
  • Collaborate with other leaders at Twitter to develop approaches to addressing live cross-disciplinary and emergent threats, including by creating technologies.  
  • Become well-versed in our policies and be able to represent the team with partner departments including Legal, Public Policy, Operations, and Communications across the world; and create opportunities for your direct reports to do the same.

  • You are passionate about understanding and combating threats to online conversational health, and aren’t afraid of tackling complex and high-impact problems.
  • You have direct experience working on spam, platform manipulation, security investigations, or other relevant operational domains.

  • You have political familiarity with the APAC region. Deep/nuanced familiarity with one or more countries in the region, a plus.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience on relevant issues (spam, manipulation and security investigations, OSINT research), preferably in service of trust and safety principles.
  • Prior experience leading or managing people, especially on an operations-focused team.
  • BA/BS or equivalent professional experience.
  • Note: this role involves potential exposure to sensitive or graphic content, including but not limited to vulgar language,
  • violent threats, pornography, and other graphic images.

Notice (Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act)
The expected salary range for this role to be performed in Colorado is USD$167,000.00 - USD$234,000.00. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for participation in Twitter’s Performance Bonus Plan and Equity Incentive Plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
