Job Description

The Sales Operations Manager, Reporting and Analytics will play a critical role in driving best-in-class sales operational reporting and analytics. This person will provide logistical and analytical support to the sales team including pipeline management, forecasting, and compensation. They will promote a data driven, metric focused culture in our sales team. 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of sales analysts bringing out the best of their experience to deliver high quality reports and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to develop performance metrics that provide insights into sales planning, process, and effectiveness of the sales organization.
  • Enhance, maintain, and drive adoption of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and sales KPI dashboards.
  • Analyze the performance of the sales organization throughout the sales process to identify areas for improvement and best practices.
  • Drive and support planning efforts for quota setting and sales compensation.   
  • Improve data collection and set up best-of-breed reports and sales analytics utilizing SFDC and Power BI to deliver timely and effective support for fast-paced sales motions.
  • Ensure accurate forecasts and sales pipelines are available to the sales team, geography, industry, and other categories as needed to analyze and report on bookings, revenue forecasting, sales performance, and ROI of new sales initiatives.
  • Participate in weekly forecast meetings with the sales leadership. Continually assess current sales attainment and capacity constraints and anticipate roadblocks to efficiency and goal attainment.
  • Aid with commission reconciliation support.
  • Proven team player, working effectively across all Business Units and Departments.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree in a related field
  • Minimum of 3+ years of related experience of management in Sales Analytics/Operations
  • Software industry experience required
  • Strong analytical capabilities and ability to distill large data sets into meaningful information
  • Proficient in SalesForce.com, Excel, data analysis
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal/written communication, organization, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and simultaneously manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines, outstanding project management and time management skills
  • Innovative, creative mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and leaders across the organization
