Who we are

The SMB Global Marketing team builds customer lifecycle programs leveraging web, email, paid and other Martech solutions to educate small and medium size businesses on the value of Twitter Ads and other Twitter business solutions. Our goal is to help customers understand how to grow their business with Twitter by investing in the right strategies and organic and paid Twitter solutions.

The Position

In this role, you will serve as our organization’s business-side admin of our marketing automation platform and the implementation and management of tools within the MarTech stack, with a focus on governance, data management (enrichment, standardization, and integrity), data modeling and integrations (CRM and API), and lead management and related processes. This role will work in collaboration with global and regional marketing, sales operations, customer success, IT, data science, and engineering teams to build, maintain and enable scalable programs and processes to ensure our global teams execute at their best. 

This is a highly technical role, where a thorough understanding of data, integrations, CRM, and back-end marketing operations processes such as lead management are required. This role does not have a focus on campaign or asset creation unless needed for complex or highly technical campaigns, and will be the business-side stakeholder serving to translate our requirements with respective partner engineering teams for implementation, and be a facilitator between the business and technical teams. You should have the knowledge to partner in technical design concepts, and ensure they meet business needs through defining requirements as well as user acceptance testing.  

You must have strong project management skills, an understanding on how B2B lead management and campaign workflows should operate across different technologies and on a global scale, and be an effective communicator across both technical and non-technical audiences.

Job Description

  • Identify and execute strategic initiatives to improve email automation and related technologies, implementing and optimizing technical processes and operations to ensure compliance and stakeholder success, and managing and supporting email marketing initiatives

  • Architect and design solutions, processes and frameworks using products and technologies such as Eloqua, SFDC, AEM, DemandBase, Outreach, etc. to further best practices and deliver cutting edge email marketing programs

  • Build and maintain automated programs for data hygiene, data enrichment, progressive profiling, customized governance filters and compliance

  • Collaborate with global and regional marketing leads to understand strategic plans and program requirements to discern technical initiatives and recommended support

  • Help to define, standardize, and operationalize marketing operations best practices across the team, and serve as mentor and educator to team members

  • Document functional business requirements, process flow diagrams, and business cases

  • Support change management process to implement new as well as update existing applications

  • Optimize lead management and marketing & sales alignment. Ensure lead inbound and outbound processes are standardized and optimized for best segmentation/targeting and routing

  • Collaborate with sales operations on enhancing and troubleshooting issues with the lead management process and system integrations

  • Collaborate with data science teams to create reports that improve efficiency and help marketing better demonstrate its impact on the organization

  • Monitor, report, and analyze performance to improve conversion rates, increase ROI, and prevent audience fatigue

  • Work with legal and information security teams to ensure database compliance and adherence to local laws

Qualifications

  • 6+ years marketing automation or other relevant work experience

  • Deep expertise with enterprise email automation software (preferably Eloqua) and related integrated marketing and sales technologies (CRM, CMS, event management, etc.) on a global scale

  • Experience in lead routing, scoring, enrichment, and reporting (Salesforce or similar CRM)

  • Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to solve complex technical issues and develop thoughtful, scalable solutions

  • Strong verbal & written communication skills with the ability to translate deep technical concepts to business or non-technical stakeholders, as well as distill business requests into technical design, requirements, and execution

  • Excellent project management skills partnering with multiple functions (marketing, sales, technical, legal) and geographies

  • Clear, concise technical writing skills and development of process documentation and workflows

  • Ability to successfully facilitate and build consensus in cross-functional teams

  • A growth mentality, including the ability to guide and explain as well as learn and take initiative

  • Willingness to speak up with ideas, recommendations, and opportunities to test or optimize

  • Organized, thorough with strong attention to detail and process discipline

  • Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant industry experience
