Twitter is a mission with a business that funds it! One of the key objectives at Twitter focuses on increasing it’s revenue durability by getting paid for multiple jobs. In this role and position, you will be helping the Twitter Blue team to deliver experiences for the power users of Twitter. An ideal candidate should be comfortable in a fast-paced ambiguous environment which is focused on delivering customer value quickly and efficiently. 

Who We Are:

As a TPM in Twitter, your responsibilities will span the life of the product/service. This includes collaborating with business stakeholders, creating and communicating a successful design by collaborating with product, engineering and design stakeholders. You will also establish processes for improved execution, tracking and risk management, and improving the product & execution quality by instituting best practices. 

 

What You’ll Do

  • Work closely with engineering and product team to drive strategic alignment and technical delivery of company-wide programs and projects in support of Twitter’s durability efforts

  • Partner with program stakeholders to drive effective communications and lead execution from requirements to delivery

  • Increase overall effectiveness by systematically identifying and solving root cause organizational and technological challenges discovered throughout program delivery

  • Partner with cross functional teams to ensure teams meet their schedule targets by implementing industry best practices in team management and roadmap delivery, creating novel solutions where appropriate. 

  • Partner with stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet stringent engineering and business requirements

Qualifications

  • Experienced cross-functional lead, with 5+ years as a TPM, engineering leader, product manager, or related discipline

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering or a related technical discipline

  • Experience working with several different development methodologies and productivity tools

  • History of delivering customer centric products. You aren’t afraid to be scrappy when needed. 

  • Solid track record partnering with product teams to define strategy and requirements

  • Proficient collaborating with engineering teams to design, scope, and deliver high scale services within distributed systems

  • Proven ability to identify and resolve systemic issues in both software and people systems. History of working with distributed teams across geos. 

  • As a generalist and outcomes owner, you have the ability to fill any gap needed to deliver, including writing functional specs, project / release plans, roadmaps, and technical proposals

  • Excel amid ambiguity, create and drive execution structures in both creative and traditional ways, influence peers / managers toward shared vision and forward progress

  • Tireless multitasker, with capacity to own and execute several programs simultaneously

  • You understand the power of prototyping and experimenting in public, and you embrace user feedback, both good and bad.
