We launched the first permissioned market for Real World Assets (RWA) on the Aave protocol. For those that don’t know, briefly: This will allow Aave depositors to earn yield against stable, uncorrelated real world collateral while Centrifuge asset originators can borrow money from Aave, automatically balance capital needs and provide alternative collateral to volatile crypto assets. Currently, there are 11 pools live on the Tinlake protocol (https://tinlake.centrifuge.io/), ranging from real estate, to cargo & freight forwarding invoices, and inventory financing. The RWA Market will go live with 7 pools. To be able to use the RWA market, users will need USDC.

Sign the subscription agreement

After successful KYC and signed subscription agreement, you’ll be able to deposit the USDC token…

That’s how the onboarding process looks like for the first permissioned market built on Centrifuge and Aave.

By now the market has already grown to a size of 1.05M. Will you join and disrupt TradFi with the combined power of two DeFi protocols?
