Data miners discover Spotify HiFi interface graphics and settings

Jade Manchun Wong, a tech researching blogger, has shared images of some user interface graphics that Spotify may be using in its forthcoming HiFi service.
The photos show the various settings that could be coming with the launch of the lossless music streaming service. It appears that you’ll have to click a setting titled “Access the HiFi experience” to listen to Spotify HiFi, with the option to change the audio quality on WiFi and cellular streaming, as you can at present.
There also appears to be a sub-menu called “Get the most out of HiFi”, but what it entails is a mystery. Check out the image, which Wong tweeted on her protected account, below.
With this design, you’ll know when you’re listening to a track in Spotify HiFi thanks to a small icon in the bottom right corner. You can choose whether to play the HiFi song by tapping the icon and adjusting the audio quality manually.
You’ll also be able to check your device’s HiFi capabilities, with a checklist informing you whether you have a HiFi compatible device, whether you’re playing via WiFi or cellular, and the strength of your internet bandwidth.
This development shows similar properties as the Spotify HiFi menu one Redditor was able to access via a glitch in the iOS version of the app in May 2021. The HiFi icon we see in these images mirrors the glitched icon that the Redditor was able to see.
Spotify announced its HiFi service in February this year, but the exact release date has been kept under wraps. With these newly discovered features, however, it appears the streaming giant might be plotting its launch shortly.
