Congratulations to Roundtable for launching their new fund-as-a-service product! 🎉 You might be asking yourself, what's a fund-as-a-service product? 🧐 It enables any investors to launch and run their very own fund - think a venture capital fund, such as micro-funds. Roundtable's innovation lies in how quickly and easily investors will now be able to raise, launch and run their funds. Something that used to take months to do, was extremely costly can now be done in a matter of hours, much more easily. This is a big game-changing innovation for fundraising in Europe and will increase access to more fundraising avenues to startups - as has already been done in the US. Congratulations to the whole Roundtable team who's pace is unrivalled on the market today! 🎉 Evan Testa Julien Fissette Simon Ternoir and the whole team 👏 👉 So now if you are or know Super Angels, Former VC partners, Business schools, or anyone wanting to launch their own fund - check out Roundtable.eu

🎉 Blocks is live on Product Hunt! 🎉 The best products are born from simple wireframes created with the involvement of the entire team. This approach has always been our priority at Hexa, leading to the creation of 40 companies including Spendesk, Aircall, Front, Upflow, and Swan Today, we unveil Blocks: the tool that embodies our product philosophy and allows for the creation of low-fidelity wireframes with your entire team in just a few minutes. But Blocks is a Hexa product unlike any other. It's been created entirely in-house by the Hexa core team, who have been working tirelessly for months without any external founders. This is a first for a Hexa Product Hunt launch! So, we are counting on your support today 🐱 (Product Hunt link in the first comment).

Coming soon 👀 We’ve been working on a side project for weeks now with the entire Hexa team - involving our very own core team of product managers, designers, marketers, alike. It’s the product we’ve been using internally for years, which has allowed us to create game-changing products from Aircall to Spendesk, and all the way to the products we’re launching today. We’re ready to release it to the world on Product Hunt, on May 15th. See you all then!

What did Elon Musk, Eric Schmidt and Tony Hsieh have in common? Aside from being billionaires, they were all late cofounders. We are big believers in the late cofounder at Hexa (how could we not be with Yousign’s success story with Alban Sayag?), but we don’t talk about them much in the world of entrepreneurship. Nor are we even really clear on what they are - are they the same as early cofounders who join later? Or are they glorified CEOs? None of the above. Late cofounders come on board when the company is still young - pre-exit or IPO - but needs to fix something big that’s stopping it from growing to its full potential. They take cofounder levels of equity, and actively help to shape it from A-Z: its product, teams, GTM, but also its long-term vision and trajectory. We label people in company building as either ‘builders’ or ‘scalers’—those who are great at starting things from scratch (like early founders) and those who excel at taking something existing and making it bigger and better, which is usually a job for C-levels. The late co-founder is both. They are the entrepreneurial scalers of the startup world, and they can make all the difference in changing the destiny of a linear-growth company: to have a second shot at becoming a category leader. Augustin Celier, who is currently looking for a late cofounder for ScaleX, has shed light on the role - and he’s arguably the first person to ever do it. Congrats to Upflow (HX18) who has just raised $5 million in new funding to bring Payments by Upflow to market 🎉 The vision for Upflow has always been to transform how B2B companies get paid. The first step in that vision was with their accounts receivable product to enable companies to collect payments and get paid on time. Today, marks a huge day for the team as they launch Payments by Upflow, allowing merchants to instantly provide online payment options to all of their customers, tailored to the complex requirements of B2B commerce. This new funding, led by Lorimer Ventures and with participation from existing investors Y Combinator and Hedosophia, and product launch are a testament of the team’s hard work and dedication. It will enable Upflow vision to reach their goals and bring B2B payment online, at a global scale. Kudos!

Job 1, survive in AI; Job 2, thrive in AI ✨ Des Traynor, co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer at Intercom, came to Hexa to talk about the urgency for startups to get serious about AI if they want to survive in the medium term. It sounds like something startups have heard many times over the last year. But Des' astute examples, observations, and first-hand experience at Intercom drove the point home sharply. 👇 We've recapped his main arguments in the article in the comments Huge thank you's to Des for sharing and to everyone for coming, it was a great way to kick off a Tuesday morning 🤗

With PromptX, our latest project, teams can now test, improve and confidently ship great AI features 10x faster. We're on a mission to help businesses win with AI. We are opening slots for additional design partners to test PromptX.Interested? If you share our beliefs and want to get ready for the AI-first era 👉 the link is in first comment

Dialog’s (HX22) pivot to a better way to shop online 🛒 In 2022, cofounders Antoine Grimal and Louis Pinsard joined Hexa with a vision to leverage technology to create an internet where businesses can better understand their customers, with privacy at its core. Creating a product that people really want hinges on listening to them - their changing needs, the changing market, and changing technologies - and that’s exactly what Antoine and Louis did. Today, they are achieving their vision of privacy-first customer engagement, but via a very different solution to the one they initially envisaged: 🥁 Introducing Dialog, an AI-enabled sales assistant for e-commerce stores, which provides real-time help to customers exactly where they need it. Traditional online shopping leaves customers to navigate extensive product catalogs alone, which can lead to hesitant or abandoned purchases. It can be confusing and frustrating to try to choose the right bike for your triathlon or the right stroller for your newborn… but Dialog helps with that, offering timely, personalized assistance throughout the buying journey based on the information you provide. For companies, this means fewer abandoned carts and higher conversion rates. We couldn’t be prouder of the team’s journey and can't wait to share more in the coming weeks—there are many new features, clients, and use cases in the pipeline, so stay tuned! Find out more about Dialog at the link in the comments, and don’t hesitate to reach out to Antoine with any questions.

It's a huge day for two Hexa companies: Spendesk (HX16) acquires Okko (HX23) to become the first European solution that fully integrates procurement and spend management for mid-sized businesses. 🎉 This is a pivotal move for Spendesk and marks the company's first acquisition. We couldn't be more thrilled that the company acquired is none other than Okko, cofounded by Julien CHRIQUI and Robin Brissaud, in our studio just a year ago! We've seen both companies transform from an idea within our studio to what they are now. Spendesk and the huge success that it is in the fintech & spend management space, and Okko who in so little time managed to execute on its vision to make procurement a productive process for all teams involved and won clients such as Payfit. Now, they're uniting to go further than we could have ever imagined and create a complete procure-to-pay process. Congratulations to all! Rodolphe A. Guilhem Bellion Matthieu Vaxelaire Thibaud Elziere Amaury Sepulchre Quentin Nickmans
