VITALIZE seeks an entrepreneurial, detail-oriented, highly organized team member who is passionate about automation and wants to help streamline the operations of an early-stage venture capital firm. The Ops / Product Intern position offers an exciting opportunity to play a hands-on role in optimizing all aspects of how an early-stage venture firm operates. Experience in product management or operations is required.
The Ops / Product Intern is a part-time position at roughly 15 hours per week, to start immediately. (NOTE: there is a potential for the position to be full-time in summer 2021 as well!) The role may last for up to one year, with the potential for a full-time position to start in summer 2022.
Key Responsibilities
Operations
- Identify ways to improve operational efficiencies and devise plans for relevant systems, processes, and integrations and then execute accordingly.
- Assist with administration (filing, research, etc.)
- Manage special projects, as needed.
Product
- Leverage software and data to more efficiently find deals and help portfolio companies.
- Optimize our investor community member lifecycle from onboarding through investment.
- Manage all technology platforms for the firm.
Qualifications
- Strong background in product management and/or operations.
- Experience starting or leading a business or major initiative at school, a non-profit, etc.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Able to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Able to work independently.
