• Work closely with developers and Product Owner within an agile team to test products and services for Turnitin
• Perform manual testing of new features
• Define test flows, test plans, and test cases
• Create new tests and maintain automation frameworks written in JavaScript using Nightwatch.js
• Recommend improvements in software to enhance the user experience
• Assist in maintaining a Continuous Integration Solution

Requirements

• 3+ years of work experience in manual and automation testing
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript
• Knowledge of automation frameworks (Nightwatch.js, Selenium, Cypress.io)
• Understanding of test design techniques
• Experience with test planning (writing test plans, test cases, checklists)
• Experience with API testing
• Experience working in Agile environment, ability to adapt to substantial and/or routine changes
• Experience with CI Platforms (Jenkins, CircleCI)
• Familiarity with Bug Tracking tools (Jira) and Wiki (Confluence)
• Working knowledge of CLI (Command Line Interface)
• Knowledge of writing SQL queries
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and attention to detail
• Upper-Intermediate or higher English level, both spoken and written (B2+)

Nice to Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience with performance testing (Locust, JMeter)
