$500,000 for Public Goods on EOS
Pomelo Season 1 is launching with $500,000 in the matching pool. Starting on November 7, anyone can request funding for public goods directly from the EOS community.
Pomelo is a crowdfunding platform that multiplies your contributions. Inspired by Gitcoin, contributions are matched from a pool of funds provided by the EOS Network Foundation. With the magic of quadratic funding, more matching funds go to the grants with more unique donors.
Submit your grant proposals to Pomelo.io starting on November 7. Then it’s up to the EOS community to decide how the matching pool is divided among qualified grants.
Pomelo Season 1 schedule
- November 7–28: Anyone can create grants for Public Goods
- November 7–28: Pomelo team approves grants that qualify as Public Goods
- November 11-December 1: Anyone can donate EOS to their favourite grants and influence the distribution of the matching pool
- After December 1: Pomelo team analyzes results and distributes matching pool to qualified grants who pass KYC
