Financial Analyst - FP&A Revenue Product

Twitter is looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Revenue Product FP&A team. This role will support our Revenue Product org, partnering closely with key stakeholders and product leads. 

Who We Are:

The FP&A team provides partnership and support to the various functions across the organization. We engage directly with senior management to understand the drivers of operating expenses and turn that understanding into forecasts that drive critical strategic decisions. We leverage an analytical, detail-oriented approach to develop meaningful relationships with that wide variety of business partners that we support.

Job Description

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead monthly close activities, quarterly forecasting, and annual budgeting exercise

  • Gain strong understanding of the Product portfolio

  • Own analysis and reporting of underlying financial drivers of monthly business performance

  • Develop a strong partnership with Revenue Finance, Accounting, and Corporate finance teams, working closely with them during monthly close and forecasting

  • Perform analysis of P&L accounts, research, and drive resolution of all outstanding issues

  • Provide decision support through scenario modeling and ad-hoc analysis

  • Support improvements to processes and systems to streamline efficiency

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting with strong academic record

  • Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in Finance with exposure to forecasting, budgeting, and monthly close activities

  • Superior financial modeling skills (excel/google sheets)

  • Experience with Oracle and Hyperion (preferred)

  • Experience in driving automation in key finance-related tasks - Alteryx and Tableau experience is a plus!
