A new era of EOS is upon us with a wide constellation of contributors across the EOS Network Foundation (ENF), ClarionOS, sponsored working groups, and others within the EOS community. Audit+: Improving the Security of EOSIO Blockchains
Inspired by Consensys Diligence and led by Slowmist & Sentnl, the Audit+ working group is providing research and development to ensure a safer and more secure user and developer experience for everyone. The Audit+ working group is building a framework for security analysis tooling and contract-audit for EOSIO-based applications.

EOS Community Fireside Chats
Lately, the EOS Community Fireside chats have been… well… on fire! If you haven’t joined us yet, I strongly encourage you to do so on Discord on Wednesdays at 20:00 UTC. It has a very friendly vibe and everyone is welcome to listen in, say hi, ask some questions or share some updates. Everyone who shows up earns a POP Token NFT that can be used to win EOS prizes! One thing we particularly like about the fireside chats is that we oftentimes end up getting some sneak peeks about news and updates from a variety of projects before they’re publicly released. Claiming Pomelo Grants
In the first few hours, Pomelo grant owners have already claimed over US $220,000 in matching funds! Congrats to all 75 projects who are eligible to claim Pomelo funding!

Upland MetaVentures: Block Explorer Shop
Metaventures are officially LIVE in Upland! This means players can visit 10 player-owned shops in the metaverse to purchase exclusive Block Explorers. Head to one of the in-game shops to view the owner’s inventory of Block Explorers and experience Metaventures for the very first time!
This marks a big step in the Upland journey on their way to being a fully metaverse-integrated game that runs on the EOS blockchain. They’ve built up a sizeable player base so far, attracting around 60,000+ daily active users which places Upland as the 8th most popular dapp across all types of dapps and across all blockchains.

Traditional Tibetan Thangka NFTs
In this series, the .gems team is working in cooperation with Pureland Travels with the goal to support Tibetans in their own cultural and economic sustainability and introduce NFTs as an innovative method to extend social benefit.
The original artworks have been produced by the Thangka painter Tashi in collaboration with his students. Tashi has made it his life’s mission to preserve Tibetan culture by teaching the revered discipline of traditional Thangka painting to the next generation of young Tibetans. Many of Tashi’s students are orphans that lost their parents during the 2010 Yushu earthquake, and much of the revenue generated through selling their work goes back to funding the materials and boarding costs that the students need for their arts education.
Besides going beyond the traditional market for Thangka art and supporting the good cause of Pureland Travels and Tashi, this series also explores opportunities for spirituality in the digital space. It’s trying to answer the question of how the sacredness of a physical masterpiece can be transformed into a digital representation. How much of the object exists in our minds and how important is materialistic presence and ownership in the digital age of the 21st century?
