    Oyo's senior executive joins Powerhouse91 as co-founder

    NEW DELHI: Powerhouse91, building India’s Thrasio by acquiring and growing Indian e-commerce brands, has appointed Nikhil Agrawal as Chief Corp Dev Officer. In his new role, he will join the founding team at Powerhouse91 and lead acquisitions and fundraising.

    Agrawal brings more than 15 years of experience across M&A, fund raising, investments, capital markets, debt financing, joint ventures, partnerships, and venture capital. Most recently, he was heading Corporate Development at OYO Hotels & Homes. He has previously worked in Having Bharti Airtel, Standard Chartered Bank, and Credit Suisse.

    In a statement, Aqib Mohammed and Shashwat Diesh, co-founders at Powerhouse91, said, "At Powerhouse91, we are building something with the potential to define the next important chapter in India’s e-commerce story and with Agarwal on board we feel doubly confident of being able to achieve that."
