It's time to reveal SBC's growth plans for SBC Summit Rio 2025 😎 🤘 SBC Summit Rio has been a hugely popular event from the outset. During the Summer 2023 we announced that the event would take place at Windsor Barra, and the demand and interest to take part in the event kept growing steadily. We received so much interest that in November 2023 we were completely sold out on exhibition and sponsorship opportunities. Demand continued after we sold out for the 2024 edition, and we could easily have doubled the size of the event. Here are some of the highlights from SBC Summit Rio this week: 👉 The event is buzzing with so many great people networking and doing business at Windsor Convention & Expo Center in Rio 👉 Rio de Janeiro Governor Cláudio Castro paid a visit to our event to show his appreciation 👉 Great speakers and truly inspirational conference talks and content Some outstanding networking events and evening parties for the industry to come together 👉 Brazilian football legends like Ronaldinho and Ze Roberto in the crowd While soaking in the awesome SBC Summit Rio 2024 experience, it's with immense pride that we can now reveal that SBC Summit Rio 2025 will be held at Riocentro where we have booked more than 40,000 sqm venue space for the event. To create the ultimate event experience, SBC Summit Rio will use a mix of Pavilion 4, the Arts Pavilion, outdoor food courts and networking spaces, including the massive amphitheatre for keynotes and conference talks (see image below). This makes SBC Summit Rio the largest industry event across Brazil and Latin America. Taking place 25 February to 27 February 2025, SBC Summit Rio is perfectly timed within the industry calendar. I would also like to highlight that the Rio Carnival will start on 28 February which provides the perfect opportunity for you to extend your stay and enjoy one of the most exciting festivals in the world. The new venue and capacity will see the SBC Summit Rio accommodate more than 10,000 attendees. This diverse audience will include operators, affiliates, sportsbook and casino suppliers, regulators, payment providers, marketing agencies, associations, legal advisors, start-ups, and more. It was an honour and a privilege to visit my good friend Vigen Badalyan in Yerevan this week, and of course take part in the Harmony 4.0 event. I've known Vigen for many years and he is a true entrepreneur, innovator and a brilliant businessman. Not many like him, and I respect him like a brother. Great day for SBC to be visiting the amazing Kaizen Campus in Athens where our generous hosts Kaizen Gaming have been giving us a tour of one of the most advanced offices in Europe. The visit was timed with the big news around Betano's landmark agreement with UEFA to become the exclusive and official sports betting partner of the UEFA EURO 2024. Thank you to everyone that attended SBC Summit Latinoamérica in Miami this week. About 2,500 industry friends and partners visited our event and we had a blast 😎 😍 🤘 Let me share some of the highlights from the event. 🤘 The Hard Rock Guitar Hotel and Resort is just really awesome !! It's a joy to spend a week at the hotel for client meetings and dinners, paying a visit to the casino, or use the gym and some of the many resort pools. Nothing beats a senior exec expo and conference event at such a cool venue !! 🤝 The Exhibition and Conference went down like a treat with 70 exhibitors and 3 conference rooms. Everyone was busy with meetings and talking business around Latam and Brazil; undoubtedly the hottest markets in the industry as we approach 2024. 🏈 40 of us enjoyed a VIP Suite hospitality experience at the Hard Rock Stadium where we watched the Miami Dolphins beat the New England Patriots wearing SBC Latam branded Dolphins shirts. Legendary Dan Marino paid a visit to the box and took pictures with all of us. 😁 We had three networking parties running on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Tuesday evening we had a very busy Halloween Party at the Guitar Hotel Rooftop Bar Wednesday evening we invited all the delegates to an authentic Miami Dolphins field experience at the Hard Rock Stadium. All our friends and partners got to try their skills with 40 yard fields goals and touchdown passing / receiving. Thursday evening we had the closing party at the hotel which was another smash hit with plenty of industry people networking and enjoying themselves to close off a busy and rewarding week. 🏆 SBC Awards Latinoamerica was the final event on Thursday evening for close to 500 guests. Thx to Ines Sainz for hosting the awards again, and thx to all the shortlisted companies for taking part, and another congratulations to all the winners. To sum it all up, the event was the perfect mixture of Quality Audiences, Business, Meetings, Networking, Fun, Education, and not least Information about key markets across Latin America and Brazil.
