Who You Are:

We are looking for Early Career Recruiters to source, attract, assess, and hire a strong pipeline of diverse early career talent for our Twitter business teams in North America and Latin America. The recruiters will report to the Global Early Career Recruiting Manager and be responsible for full-cycle recruitment of early career talent (<2 years work experience, interns, new grads, apprentices, and more) from traditional and non-traditional channels. You will partner with a team of recruiters and business leaders to execute Twitter’s entry-level recruiting strategy while keeping the candidate and hiring manager experience top of mind.

Job Description

What You’ll Do:

  • Understand the company’s need for early career talent and the evolving external, global landscape, consulting with business leaders on early career recruiting trends and best practices.

  • Independently manage and execute full-life cycle recruiting processes for all job requisitions for assigned functions or regions. This includes sourcing, recruiting and screening applicants, advising managers on hiring decisions, and communicating with stakeholders throughout the process.

  • Introduce creative strategies around sourcing and pipelining diverse talent from key universities, student organizations, professional associations, and diversity groups globally as well as other recruiting channels. This includes new grads, interns, co-ops, and apprentices.

  • Drive proactive and targeted sourcing to optimize skills-based early career recruiting.

  • Utilize tools such as Handshake, LinkedIn Recruiter, SmartRecruiters, employee referral program, and other tools to pipeline candidates. 

  • Develop new, innovative, scalable and effective end-to-end experiences to recruit top early career talent from key universities and other recruiting channels.

  • Deliver on the early career recruiting strategy to help achieve annual hiring goals for entry-level and internship roles with a best-in-class candidate and hiring manager experience.

  • Provide guidance in planning and administering early career recruiting initiatives.

  • Develop strong relationships among stakeholders including hiring managers, HR Business Partners, Compensation, Industry recruiters, and business leaders.

  • Track metrics and hiring progress for assigned functions, teams, or regions.

Qualifications

  • You possess global technical and industry knowledge and understand relevant tech and non-tech skills, target companies, schools, conferences, scholarship, and boot camp programs across the globe.
  • You have hired interns and early career talent at scale in global markets.

  • You are knowledgeable of functional and regional recruiting nuances to ensure recruiting processes meet the needs of both technical and non-technical pillars of the organization.

  • You are able to partner with hiring leaders and teams to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches for early career talent.

  • You possess business acumen to understand the talent needs of the businesses/teams you support. 

  • You are a self starter and motivated to bring fresh perspective and ideas to how the team and client groups hire.

  • You have strong organizational skills, work ethic, sense of urgency, and attention to detail with the ability to manage hiring needs across various client groups.

  • You have the ability to work collaboratively across all levels and exhibit strong leadership, communication and influencing skills.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years work experience in Early Career, university, or diversity recruiting.

  • Experience as a full life cycle recruiter with knowledge in direct sourcing of passive and active candidates and effective interview techniques.

  • Proven success in hiring early career talent at scale/volume.

  • Knowledge of the recruiting and workforce environment in North America and Latin America.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a global, cross functional team.

  • Flexibility for travel 10-20% (post COVID) and to work evening hours and some weekends.
