About the Role: 

You will join our Work Transformation leadership team (comprising Real Estate & Workplace, Sustainability and Future of Work Innovation) to take the helm of our brand new Future of Work Innovation team. Working across the People Team to ensure we are aligned in our approach so that any employee can be successful at Twitter regardless of geography whether that’s benefits, DEI, technology, the experience in our offices or working from home and more. 

Through strong collaboration with our valued internal partners, you will be the engine that drives all things future focused and will cut across everything we do in the People Team. You will partner with your peers across Work Transformation to ensure we function seamlessly as #OneTeam. You will have a flair for communication, innovation and building relationships along with a desire to mentor and guide with a bias to excellence and an almost obsessive attention to the details. Curiosity and (sometimes!) scrappy execution will be key to success in this role as we experiment and pilot to ensure we are at the forefront of innovation.

What You’ll Do:

  • Be an integral and vocal part of our Leadership team to help us shape and grow the best Work Transformation team our employees will work for in their career.

  • Build a robust new team who are pushing us beyond the status quo when we think about what the future of work looks like.

  • Partner with external experts, universities and think tanks to predict and get ahead of trends that will influence how we work, setting the standard other companies will follow.

  • Identify studies and pilots that Twitter will participate in to move research forward.

  • Identify and meet business needs through strong collaboration with business leadership, project teams, consultants, vendors, and property management partners.

  • Develop and/or participate in developing and maintaining organizational policies and procedures in areas of responsibility.

  • Lead, manage and direct Future of Work Innovation Tweeps and resources and champion their work company wide.

  • Be responsible for budget, staffing, short- and long-range planning.

  • Communicate and execute a clear vision and strategy in a professional, effective & positive manner exhibiting a high level of emotional intelligence.

  • Spread thought leadership via articles, webinars, workshops, playbooks, podcasts, conferences and interviews.

  • Have principle responsibility for ensuring compliance with internal business controls, including procurement and legal reviews, in the award of vendor contracts.

  • Maintain a strong external network which you will routinely leverage to stay current and ahead of emerging trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ degree required, Masters or advanced degree preferred

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in workplace strategy, operations, employee experience. 

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as regional or multi-regional leader

  • Experience growing and scaling a team and / or program in a fast paced environment.

  • Experience evangelizing new products and programs externally.

  • A proven leader who motivates others to collaborate effectively and deliver outstanding results

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to present to and influence peers and executive leadership
