Who we are

The Global Strategy and Operations team @ Twitter partners with Global Sales teams to drive revenue, craft and execute sales strategy, handle all internal systems to drive efficiency and provide revenue operations assistance to customer ad campaigns.

The Director of Revenue Strategy and Operations for Global SMB will serve as a key member of the leadership team to drive creation and execution of business plans, define sales processes, analyze revenue trends & critical metrics, and support special projects aimed at improving sales efficiency and effectiveness.  

This individual will manage a team dedicated to supporting central SMB needs and initiatives, while also playing a key role in connecting the Regional SMB RSOMs to enable best practice sharing and the quick escalation of needs and opportunities.

The ideal candidate is an experienced SMB Strategy & Operations leader who has a strong bias to action, an ability to build and develop a world class team, and to create and nurture senior-level partner relationships.  

What you'll do

  • Become a strategic business and thought partner to the SMB leadership team and help them to execute towards short and long-term business goals
  • Build and manage a team that enables the SMB leadership team and that partners closely with Regional SMB RSOMs to scale initiatives and leverage best practices
  • Build cross-functional relationships with stakeholders from non-sales organizations like Product, Marketing, Finance, etc. to advance strategic priorities and deliver results
  • Co-lead key short and long-term initiatives contributing to the overall revenue growth, sales efficiency and ultimately profitability of Twitter
  • Communicate effectively to leadership on sales team's successes and challenges while simultaneously developing plans further capitalize on those successes and address those challenges
  • Build a long-term vision for your team, solve key people challenges of the org and inspire people to reach their potential

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Work with our cross functional partners (Sales, Revenue Product, Marketing, Finance, People) to ensure successful execution of key projects, while continually finding opportunities for ongoing program improvements and enhancements
  • Lead global initiatives as appropriate to improve efficiency and effectiveness of sales processes
  • Develop, manage & report on key revenue, productivity and people metrics
  • Develop strategic insights, using both Twitter business data and competitive landscape analysis to help formulate go-to-market plans
  • Actively participate in planning/executing global business plans and revenue programs
  • Provide operational thought partnership to sales leadership
  • Lead and develop a team with variable levels of experience across multiple geographies and timezones and manage by influence an extended team supporting the regions

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in the digital marketing, strategy and operations ecosystem
  • Experience building a team of top performers with experience leading individuals across different cultures a plus, 2+ years of management experience preferred
  • Proven track record of influencing senior business partners to sell ideas/vision
  • Structured problem solver with a bent towards fast execution & iteration
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bonus: MBA or equivalent with specialization in marketing, finance, mathematics, business or related field of study

Notice (Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act)

The expected salary range for this role to be performed in Colorado is USD$191,000.00 - USD$267,000.00. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for participation in Twitter’s Performance Bonus Plan and Equity Incentive Plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
