Twitter’s Marketing Technology & Partnerships team (MTP) oversees the Twitter Ads API and our ecosystem of MarTech partners who build products and provide services for advertisers on Twitter. Our distinguished group of Twitter Marketing Partners provide access to world-class technology companies that enhance the Twitter Ads experience and help across a variety of categories including Audience Targeting & Management, Creative & Ad Experiences, Campaign Management, Ad Analytics, and more.

 

We are seeking a Solutions Engineer who is comfortable at the intersection of technology and business, who has the ability  to identify and solve challenges for brands, agencies, and key internal stakeholders by (1) architecting and building solutions and (2) prioritizing client success and working cross-functionally to help them reach their business objectives. This role will work closely with Twitter’s agency and sales teams to translate partners’ business needs into solutions that use Twitter products and guide them to long-term value and success.

Qualifications

What you’ll do

 

  • Deeply understand Core Twitter Ads products and provide implementations (Ads API) in client and partner integrations.

  • Recommend integration strategies, solution architectures, and application infrastructure required to successfully implement solutions with Twitter Ads APIs and products for our key advertisers, brands and agencies.

  • Manage technical relationships with development teams of our strategic partners and clients of the Ads API.

  • Collaborate with partners to solve difficult problems and provide expert technical consultation on various Twitter Ads API (including tools, consuming data via APIs) during the integration process.

  • Work to demonstrate and prototype Ads product integrations in customer/partner environments.

  • Be the subject matter expert and provide technical consultation for technical and non-technical teams.

  • Act as a bridge between Business, Product, and Engineering, working closely with clients to solve complex problems and create custom solutions.

  • Collect feedback and feature requests from partners and help prioritize/roadmap these features with the product and engineering teams.

  • Write technical articles, code samples, and self-help documents to share with the broader Twitter developer community.

  • You are familiar with marketing technology and the Ads API ecosystems that span across social platforms.

  • You have strong technical abilities, including writing scripts to collect, store, and analyze data, and developing demos that use APIs.

  • You are skilled at scoping, organizing and leading projects from start to finish.

  • You flourish with autonomy and enjoy taking ownership of your work and its results.

  • You are comfortable using diverse platforms, data stores, and analysis tools

  • You have energy for learning new things, and for sharing what is learned with your colleagues to help them level up

  • You love to stay on top of technology trends and put them into context of APIs and data

 

Requirements

  • BA/BS Degree

  • 5+ years experience in a technical pre-sales, sales engineering, solution architect, or similar role for a software business.

  • Strong communication, presentation skills and ability to lead a conversation with diverse stakeholders.

  • Experience using and building solutions with REST APIs.

  • Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

  • Experience developing proof-of-concept applications.

  • A combination of hands-on technical skills and business acumen.

Preferred qualifications

  • Coding proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages. (Python, JavaScript, Java, Ruby)

  • Experience in hands-on integrations including API development, REST, JSON based services.

  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform and the supporting tooling associated with them.

  • Proficient with Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing and other data analysis methodologies

  • Experience with data processing languages (Python, Scala)
