Christ has prepared a small splinter of His cross to share with me.

It’s so small that it’s a bit laughable.

Indeed, if it’s not sacrilegious to say, one might be tempted to call my little portion of the Cross “cute”.

Live simply.

I feel like I should be doing something today to try and secure parishes for displays. However my options are pretty much limited. It is just a matter of waiting for the email/phone call that will never happen. Ironic since today is the kind of day where I could use such things to help improve my current mood.

I walk a 5k with my son every day.

We walk to the train station, to the river, through downtown.

It’s my time to show him the world and pray the Rosary.

I rarely see fathers out with their kids when I’m walking.
