Job Description

The R&D External Stakeholder Engagement (ESE) Operations Analyst is part of the R&D Strategic Collaborations & Library Services team and will be responsible for supporting R&D with the end-to-end process within Biogen’s ESE tool from submission of engagement through closure.  The R&D ESE Operations Analyst is the primary customer facing role for the R&D Operations hub, which supports R&D with their ESE submissions and with managing engagements.

  • Enter engagements into the ESE tool on behalf of the Engagement Owner based upon prioritized needs, and in alignment with compliance rules. Manage stakeholders, including escalating background checks, requesting tiers, calculating Fair Market Value (FMV), adding Supplier and contracting information. Ensure timely upload of fully executed contracts and closing documents per Compliance’s minimum documentation requirements
  • Participate as a member of the ESE Core Team representing R&D to lead efforts to prioritize enhancements, provide feedback on developed functionality, and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for larger enhancements that require change management
  • Complete contract templates and send contracts to Health Care Providers (HCPs) or Health Care Organizations (HCOs) and Engagement Owner for signature. Escalate questions to Legal as necessary. Manage contracts within Biogen’s Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system, Determine

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Pharma/Biotech
  • Minimum two years in a fast-paced administration or operational role
  • Strong customer service, organizational skills, experience with managing a process
  • Experience in partnering and collaborating with cross functional teams
  • Experience working with workflow programs and strong overall acumen with MS Office tools
