Job Description

Twitter’s Longform Partnerships team is looking for passionate, news and publishing business-minded candidates to join our team. Sitting within Twitter’s Longform Product team, this role is embedded in a newly created product organization that is tasked with building products for readers, writers and publishers on Twitter. The partnerships team is focused on helping writers and publishers grow, engage and monetize their audiences with products that help them build new and enhance existing revenue streams. The longform partnerships team is responsible for brokering and managing deals and partnerships with publishers & writers that use Twitter’s portfolio of longform products, which include Twitter Blue, Ad-Free Articles and Revue.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As an Associate Partnerships Manager on the Longform Team, you will help support the longform partner managers with prospecting, onboarding and managing partnerships with publishers and writers from all over the world. Reporting to the Head of Longform Partnerships, you will get the opportunity to work in a high performing product and partnerships team that is redefining the terms of the relationship between social platforms and publishers. Responsibilities include

  • Help to develop, refine and personalize partner pitches

  • Track and interpret key metrics

  • Support revenue operations by developing cross functional relationships with the finance, accounting and product teams to ensure timely partner payments and reporting

  • Supporting partner managers, product managers and engineers to stand up, track and assist with technical integrations

  • Respond to requests and account related questions from publishers and writers 

  • Bring energy, enthusiasm, confidence and inspiration to the team and help build a phenomenal culture within our growing partnerships distributed team

The ideal candidate will be a self starter at the beginning of their career and passionate about the future of news and social media. You will have excellent organizational and communication skills and be comfortable working with Twitter's product and engineering team to identify trends behind data that can help partners. You will be comfortable reading and absorbing product roadmaps and acting as a liaison between publishers, writers and a new high profile product team within Twitter

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years' experience in the media, publishing or technology industry

  • Deep rooted passion for the news business and its future and a desire to help news organizations, writers and journalist find durable commercial success

  • Comfort working on ambiguous and unpredictable programs in creative and fast moving environments

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.  You will have the opportunity to engage with technical and media stakeholders at all levels

  • Exceptional priority management, facilitation, and organizational skills

  • Strong situational awareness and critical thinking

  • Ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems

Notice (Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act)
The expected salary range for this role to be performed in Colorado is USD$114,000.00 - USD$149,000.00. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for participation in Twitter’s Performance Bonus Plan and Equity Incentive Plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
