Job Description

The Marketing Technology & Partnerships team brings advertisers and technology companies together to help them grow their businesses with Twitter. This is achieved through the Twitter Ads API, the developer platform that businesses and developers use to connect/integrate with the Twitter Ads platform. 

 

Through our premiere Twitter Marketing Partners program, advertisers get access to world class technology companies that enhance the Twitter Ads experience, so they can find the most valuable audiences, craft more effective campaigns, elevate creative, and much more. 

 

Through our Ads Developer program, brands, agencies, and other technology companies can optimize ad operations, from automated ads management and customer audience segments to ads analytics.

 

What You’ll Do

 

Twitter is seeking an Program Manager who will be responsible for supporting operations for the Twitter Marketing Partners and the Ads Developer programs. The candidate will be responsible for supporting the program leads in a highly cross functional environment. Responsibilities include: 

 

  • Lead new developer applicant pipeline qualification 

  • Engage with developers and partners in through 1-1 consultations and email  

  • Sheppard developers through the build process and address technical inquiries. 

  • Execute one-to-many email campaigns to our ecosystem for product and business updates

  • Collaborate with partnerships and marketing to operationally go-to-market with new strategic partnerships 

  • Revenue reporting and Quarterly Business Reviews for Twitter Marketing Partners and Ads Developers

  • Facilitate global cross-functional meetings 

  • As part of the project  management aspect of this role, you may be asked to drive strategic initiatives that are highly cross functional. 

Qualifications

 

The ideal candidate understands the technical aspects of how a partner builds to an API,has experience with display/social advertising, has managed software product deliverables, and has managed an ecosystem of partners against business objectives. 

 

  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects to their successful completion under tight time frames while keeping all stakeholders informed of progress.

  • Self-motivated, confident, energetic, and creative thinker.

  • Understanding of what an API is and how a business builds to an API.

  • Ability to independently manage a large pipeline of partners, each in various stages of development.

  • Ability to thrive in sometimes ambiguous and dynamic environments. 

  • Impeccable attention to detail when recording data and using data to guide decisions 

  • Strong understanding of advertising on the Web and Twitter in particular.

  • Knowledge of ad tech providers and how they improve ROI for marketers.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with an ability to speak to a cross-functional group of stakeholders or external partners with clarity and empathy

 

Requirements 

 

  • BA/BS in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science or a related field 

  • 1-2+ years experience in ad tech, technical program management, project management, consulting, strategy or related field.

  • Use tools similar to SQL, Tableau, Excel, Salesforce, and other internal tools to work efficiently at scale.
