Industry Pathways Scholarship
Background
This scholarship will be awarded to up to five students based on academic merit who are enrolled in the first year of the Bachelor of Information Technology at the Bendigo Campus.
The scholarship will be paid as follows:
First Year: $2000
Second Year: $2000
Third Year: Guaranteed Industry Based Learning (IBL) placement with an industry sponsored IBL scholarship of $28,800.
Are you eligible to apply?
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, applicants must:
- be an Australian Citizen, holder of Australian permanent resident, holder of a permanent humanitarian visa or an international student
- be intending to enrol full time in the Bachelor of Information Technology at the Bendigo Campus in Semester 1 2021
- achieve an ATAR (or equivalent) of 80 or higher or
- have an International Baccalaureate Diploma of 30 points (International students)
Recipient obligations
Recipients must achieve a minimum 70% average to maintain the scholarship. Payments in years 1 and 2 will be processed after the final results for the year are released.
In year 3 students will be offered an IBL placement. The industry partner will provide La Trobe with a $28,800 scholarship for the IBL placement. La Trobe will disburse this amount to the student pro-rata over the term of the IBL placement.
