It may not be the finest film to come from the Marvel Universe, but Thor: The Dark World still offers plenty of the humor and high-stakes action that fans have come to expect.

Aiden G It is SO boring! Chris Hemsworth is a great actor, but he didn't deserve this as a stamp on his career. The plot is lackluster, and over all, the worst MCU movie ever. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 04/12/24 Full Review Jacob C One of the more upsetting Marvel movies in the sea. This movie was only set up for Avengers: Infinity War to be put in motion. The characters did not seem to have changed much other than reacting to events from the past. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/20/24 Full Review Jace L another great thor movie i loved and love the story. another thrilling adventure with thor. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/16/24 Full Review Ella T this kinda boriong but chris hemswoth ! Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/06/24 Full Review Zinjx W Visually, "Thor 2: The Dark World" does not make many miss steps, and the computer effects are of 1 class caliber. Ps: I'm probably among the few who think this is the best Thor movie. Shubhra Gupta The Indian Express Loki is the only character who makes himself new and interesting. When he is around, Thor: The Dark World becomes a different film altogether. You wish there was more of him. The rest of it is metal clanking. Rated: 2.5/5 Mar 18, 2019 Full Review Larushka Ivan-Zadeh metro.co.uk This feels like a really, really, expensive episode of Doctor Who. In a good way. Rated: 4/5 Sep 6, 2017 Full Review Jason Bailey Flavorwire Save for Hiddleston's too-brief supporting turn, this is mighty forgettable stuff, a by-the-numbers sequel to what was already the slightest and least entertaining of the 'Avengers' components. Jun 18, 2016 Full Review Joseph Garcia Dynamic Duel Podcast The high-fantasy worldbuilding and story align with what the Norse mythological superhero's adventures should be – generic villain notwithstanding. Rated: 4/5 Apr 16, 2024 Full Review Cory Woodroof For the Win (USA Today) It’s by no means a great movie or anything, but it’s got a very good Tom Hiddleston performance and moves at a satisfying clip. Feb 27, 2024 Full Review Patrick Cavanaugh The Wolfman Cometh Dives deeper into the lore and mythology of the character more than other MCU entries, but there might be a reason other entries are more surface-level adventures.
