China's very crowded class of 2022 fights for fewer jobs

With a record 10.76m graduating, youth unemployment could hit 20% this summer

BEIJING -- As Beijing's zero-COVID policy and the crackdown on tech companies squeeze China's job market, the country's most educated -- those with college or postgraduate degrees -- seem to be paying the price.

"My job search has gone completely off the rails due to the resurgence of the coronavirus," said a third-year master's student in Beijing.
