The Role

Carrot is seeking a Global Strategy and Operations Associate to join Carrot’s Global Solutions Department. The Global Solutions team enables our customers (i.e. multinational employers) and their employees to access a global fertility benefits program inclusive of financial coverage and support. Whether a member is pursuing IVF in Mexico, a gestational carrier journey in Canada, or egg freezing through cross-border reproductive care from China to the US, our team powers Carrot’s operational infrastructure to create a positive employer and employee experience, globally. As part of the Global Solutions team at Carrot, you will work closely with our US-based Global Solutions team, our international colleagues, as well as cross-functionally with other teams at Carrot. You will also support and be involved in working cross functionally with other Carrot teams and in external conversations.

As a member of the Global Solutions team, you will contribute to:

  • Collaborating internally and cross-functionally - Collaborating with Global Solutions as well as other teams at Carrot to enable achievement of team and company-wide objectives
  • Client-facing support - Support our sales, implementation, and other client-facing teams with preparing for calls, assisting with responses to complex questions, building analyses for key markets in the fertility and family-building space.
  • Strategy and Process Creation - Identify opportunities to implement new strategies and processes that enable our team to be most efficient and effective at achieving our goals.
  • Managing complex projects - You will lead and support both strategy and operations projects that are core to the Global Solutions team
  • Critical Thinking and Strategy - Your critical thinking and strategy work will support company-wide initiatives and help create frameworks through which we can evaluate different opportunities.

The Team

Carrot’s Global Solutions team is divided into a department operations division, a global regulatory division, and 4 regions, the USA, APAC, EMEA, and LatAm & Canada. You will be the newest addition to the department operations division on the Global Solutions team, and will report directly to the Global Solutions Senior Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to be in a strategic, operational, and growth-focused role at a rapidly growing company. You will work closely with each division of the global solutions department, as well as several other teams and individuals at Carrot.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with 3+ years of professional experience with strengths in
  • Planning, managing, and efficiently completing multiple tasks and projects
  • Serving as a subject matter expert for tackling complex questions and supporting external-facing calls
  • Communicating complex information
  • Creating processes and implementing changes
  • Working independently

Preferred Qualifications

  • Empathy, awareness, and understanding of cultural sensitivities related to reproductive or other healthcare fields are highly desirable
  • International experience and/or experience managing relationships with international stakeholders is highly desirable
  • Experience related to health benefits is a bonus
  • Professional or personal experiences with fertility care, infertility-related treatments, or family-forming services is a bonus
  • Strategy consulting experience is a bonus
