101 is an open course platform with crypto rewards and NFT credentials. We help web3 organizations educate their audiences about how to use their products or participate in their communities.

Our no-code course builder creates embeddable micro courses (similar to a snapchat story) with multiple choice quizzes to assess comprehension. Users sign their quiz responses with their wallet, and if correct, are issued a non-transferrable NFT to serve as proof of learning. This NFT may then serve as an access key to Discord channels or Snapshot voting. If applicable, the student will also receive cryptocurrency from the course creator as a reward for learning.

When we launch out of beta, we’ll be complementing our no-code builder with a full course platform, allowing students to create public profiles for themselves to showcase the things they've learned. We'll also have a browser to students can find new things to learn based on what they already know. Creators will have profiles too so they can aggregate their courses into one public page.

What you'll do in this role 🛠️

• You will serve as our first design hire. But don’t worry: we have a lot of our shit together on the design front already. You’ll inherit an entire library of components, icons, and color palettes from the design agency we’ve been working with.
• You’ll work with the CEO directly. I’ve been designing interfaces and advertisements for about 6 years now. I probably won’t be as good at it as you are, but I know how to talk the talk and walk the walk. We’ll have fun together 🙂
• You’ll design entire screens from the ground up. We’ve built out a lot - but there’s still a lot to go. You’ll be in charge of building out all new features and screens that we add to the platform, honoring the design system we’ve already solidified and, at times, updating the system itself.

Who you are 😎

• You’re a Figma pro. Comfortable building and working with reusable components and mocking up advanced prototypes.
• Can talk to developers. You know what CSS is and how to ask the dev team for the changes you want to see in the UI.
• Are super proactive. We’ll give you a high level task - it’s up to you to put the pieces together. For example: we might say “this functionality needs to exist on this page” - and you’ll be in charge of figuring out how to get it done.
