The Complete List of Series B Investors

I have been lucky to invest in many companies that took off and got to a later stage. Increasingly, I work with more and more founders who are going out to raise a later stage, large rounds - $30M - $50M or more.

While I find a lot of resources online listing seed, and Series A investors, I was surprised to not be able to find a list of firms that could lead a larger, Series B or a later stage round.

It takes a ton of effort to make and maintain a quality list of any kind. I’ve decided to give this a shot, and launch a series of blog posts, here on Startup Hacks, focusing on high quality, curated lists.

I am going to start with Series B investors, first, because there are just a lot less of them.

The criteria I am using:

  • Focused on US

  • Prolific firm, leads a lot of rounds

  • Clearly leads Series B rounds, that is, not just Series A focused firm

  • Keep the list small and curated

  • Update over time based on readers feedback and my experience

  • Remove the ones that don’t really lead B rounds

  • Use just a simple alphabetical bullet list, linked to firm’s home page

  • Over time, I might make an Airtable, link to Crunchbase, etc.

Shout out and thank you to Micah at Founder Collective, Lily and Brian at Underscore, Drew at FirstStar, Shai at Brex who gave feedback and helped add names to my initial list.

So here is the v1 of the list.

Please let me know what firms I missing and which firms I should remove!

As always, thank you for reading!
