Our end-to-end population genomics platform enables health systems, life sciences companies, and payers to advance genomic research and accelerate the integration of genomic data into routine clinical care. Associate, Strategy & Business Operations Position Summary

We’re looking for someone to work alongside multiple functions to tackle a variety of critical tasks for helping the company set our strategy. These tasks will range from prioritizing business development efforts, keeping up to date on market trends, to developing insightful analyses and presentations to drive decision-making at the leadership team level. We envision this role will be a flexible generalist that supports various needs for the commercial organization. As an Associate in Strategy & Business Operations you will:

• Tackle complex projects to address some of the company’s toughest operational challenges, which require coordination across many functions (Partner Success, Marketing, Business Development, Growth, Lab Operations, Science, and more)
• Identify areas for further optimization of our business operations, and develop the tools / dashboards needed to improve efficiency and cross-functional collaboration
• Maintain a robust market intelligence portfolio by keeping a pulse on industry trends and leading supplementary research efforts
• Assist in developing materials for quarterly board meetings, and investor presentations as needed
• Analyze and synthesize information into insightful presentations for leadership to inform data-driven decision-making
• Help drive the annual strategic planning process by partnering with leadership to map out the company’s long-term strategy and vision, and identify areas for investment
• Always be where the fire is hottest - jump in to help solve the most critical challenges

Required Background

• BA or BS degree
• 2 – 4 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, private equity, or in strategy at a high-growth company
• Industry or academic background in life sciences and / or healthcare
• Highly analytical and structured thinker
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Able to define and own a process from end-to-end
• Capable of owning the details, while still keeping the big picture in mind
• Able to tell a story focused on insights, not just data
• Strong desire for personal growth

An Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Experience with the Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides), Tableau, and SFDC
• Comfortable working with, manipulating, and extracting insights from large data sets
