Her name is Joelle Bahdo. She is studying Cinema at the University of Zurich in Switzerland. She started writing poetry in Italian when she was 12. Writing was - and still is - a response, a coping mechanism, a defence, against all those things that were happening, and that she did not know how to express. She shifted to writing in English in 2017.
