Job Description

Her Campus Media is seeking a Digital Associate, Paid Social, to assist with the execution and management of digital advertising campaigns for our brand and agency partners. In this role, you will manage a variety of digital ad sales marketing campaigns, with a particular specialty in paid social placements. You will be the day-to-day lead responsible for media buying across self-serve paid social tools including Facebook Ads Manager, Snapchat Ads, TikTok Ads Manager and Pinterest. You will collaborate closely with other team members across integrated marketing, sales, planning, and creative to ensure successful delivery and continual optimization of all digital campaigns. As the subject matter expert in paid social, you will also help drive innovation, growth, and strategy for our digital offerings. This role reports into the Director of Digital, with opportunities to further grow.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Execute the implementation of assigned ad campaigns from start to finish and ensure successful, timely execution according to insertion orders, media plans, and client KPIs

  • Track and optimize campaign performance over time and provide performance and trend data to help shape future campaign strategy

  • Manage and monitor campaign reporting on a daily basis

  • Provide outstanding client service to brand and agency partners, owning client communication and relationship building and ensuring clients’ campaign objectives are fulfilled

  • Work closely with the Digital Associate, Ad Ops lead and assist with trafficking and optimization of display ads as necessary

  • Stay on the pulse with existing and new social advertising platforms

  • Contribute to ad hoc projects related to digital media and advertising technologies

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years experience in a paid social role, either at an agency or at a publisher, strongly preferred. This is not an organic social media manager role.

  • Hands on experience in a paid advertising capacity with key social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok and Pinterest required

  • Experience with Google Ad Manager a strong plus, but not required

  • Experience with third party tracking tags/pixels and reporting platforms preferred

  • Strong data analysis skills

  • Well suited to work in a nimble, highly matrixed environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
