To help realize our vision, we are seeking a Documentation Lead to help us provide industry-leading documentation that empowers developers to accomplish what they need on the platform with less time and effort.

Job Description

What you'll do:

  • Define the strategy for documentation and technical education materials for the Twitter Developer Platform

  • Draft and revise documentation to ensure developers are successful on the platform

  • Collaborate with marketing, design, research, product and engineering teams to improve developer experience with documentation and related resources

  • Partner with internal colleagues and external developers to gather and synthesize documentation feedback, and prioritize corresponding improvements

  • Measure, track, and report on key metrics related to documentation and developer experience

Qualifications

  • Skilled technical writer, with experience creating documentation and educational materials for developer audiences.

  • Experience as a developer or in a similar role, with strong developer empathy and a love for helping others solve problems and succeed

  • Experienced at collaborating with leaders and stakeholders from other departments and organizations to ensure strategic alignment and resolve execution dependencies

  • Able to create a strategy aligned with organizational objectives, and rigorously prioritize for developer impact to drive execution

  • Track record of optimizing for developer impact in decision-making and execution

Notice (Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act)

The expected salary range for this role to be performed in Colorado is USD$167,000.00 - USD$234,000.00. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for participation in Twitter’s Performance Bonus Plan and Equity Incentive Plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
