About The Role

The Business Analytics intern at WeaveGrid will assist in understanding the nuances and program needs across our client programs, accessing program data via computerized tools and identifying and analyzing EV data trends. This position will support collaboration with leaders across the full breadth of WeaveGrid customers and data sets, and will play an integral part in helping inform future program designs, product offerings, and business decisions.

Core Responsibilities

• Analyze program data and identify insights for existing EV programs
• Deliver client-ready presentations of data to share information with clients
• Highlight areas of product opportunities and program designs for future consideration

About You

You love data, asking insightful questions to understand key trends and using data to answer ambiguous questions. You can also translate your data insights into a narrative accessible for broader audiences. You are organized and flexible, and you have the tools and habits necessary to direct your investigations with minimal guidance. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and enjoy solving complex problems. You write with clarity and precision and can adapt the level of detail for the audience. You are motivated by WeaveGrid’s mission to help electric utilities mitigate climate change.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field required - pursuit of a Master’s is a plus
• Demonstrated interest in energy sustainability/mobility
• Demonstrated experience in data analysis and pulling information from large datasets
• Experience in SQL, BI Tools, and multiple types of data
• Excellent Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office skills - you should be fluent in Excel and powerpoint/word to share out data to a less-technical audience
• Hyper focus to detail and delivering analysis from a raw data set to an insight
• Ability to establish strong working relationships with technical and non-technical team members
• Energized by finding trends in the data and understanding the impacts of the trends on the business
• Experience with python or R a plus but not required
