Position Summary

This Operations Finance & Strategy team drives the financial performance and strategy of the marketplace by identifying growth opportunities and implementing marketplace solutions. The team is responsible for driving finance and strategic initiatives that impact marketplace balance, including incentives and pricing, and the ongoing financial operations of the marketplace, such as clinician pay. This role in particular plays an important role in creating an excellent clinician experience with Wheel by ensuring that clinicians are paid accurately and on time.

Responsibilities

  • Analytics: define metrics, develop insights, and take steps to drive initiatives to improve satisfaction of clients, clinicians, and the marketplace. Provide ad-hoc analysis of historical data to identify trends and key insights
  • Process Management: build, maintain, and improve Wheel’s processes and playbooks to manage and take action on data related to clinician and client performance, with a focus on clinician pay and other finance operations
  • Cross functional teamwork: Work collaboratively across Wheel’s multiple Operations teams and and Clinical team to build, scale, and support clinician performance functions
  • Communicate with clinicians to gather feedback, solve problems, and drive engagement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 0-2 years of experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical, enjoys using data to tell a story and drive decision making; has experience with Excel, BI tools, and SQL
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to professionally and effectively communicate across the organization and with clinicians in both verbal and written format
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Experience building processes, automating tasks, and making things more efficient
  • Team player that enjoys working cross functionally
  • Highly motivated and adaptable self-starter who is comfortable working in a startup where things move rapidly
