Who You Are:

As the Product Manager for our Shopper App, you will be responsible for the definition, prioritization, execution, and evaluation of features within our consumer-facing app. You will occupy the Product Owner role within our Shopper App value stream, operating as the voice of the customer to ensure that the cross-functional team are developing the right thing for the right user groups.

You will also operate outside of the agile development team, gathering insights from our Shoppers and aligning internal stakeholders around your roadmap. You will be supported by the COO who will provide a strategic direction and be a thought partner for the initiatives and features in your plan.

This role gives you the opportunity to:

  • Explore some interesting consumer features and develop your prioritization and problem-solving skills;

  • Make a genuinely positive impact on people’s lives in North America (and beyond!).

To be successful in this role:

  • Thrived in a B2C, mobile-first product role and delivered delightful features at scale;
  • Experience finding innovative solutions for real-world, user problems, aligned with the business needs of a rapidly scaling organization;
  • Past success analyzing data (experience with SQL a bonus!), drawing accurate conclusions, and adjusting strategy accordingly;
  • The technical depth that allows you to communicate with, understand, and earn the respect of engineers and data scientists;
  • You know how to operate effectively as a Product Owner within an agile team;
  • You enjoy ambiguity and can lead a team in an ambiguous environment;
  • You can demonstrate leadership without having direct authority, particularly in a complex organization where communication skills are very important;

Nice To Have: 

  • Understanding of consumer app marketing and engagement systems (notifications, interstitials, gamification);
  • Bachelor's degree in a business or technical field;
  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner for a consumer product.
