MBA Intern Role

You will have the opportunity to own your own projects, while working closely with Elektra’s leadership, operations, clinical operations, marketing, and product teams. In this role, you can expect to work on projects such as:

  • Mapping and evaluating potential revenue streams for Elektra.
  • Driving operational efficiency across the business, monitoring performance and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Building and implementing business and financial processes and systems, including helping with day-to-day operations relating to vendor procurement, customer success, IT security, and - risk/compliance functions.
  • Contributing to product roadmap and strategy through customer insights, pricing tests, utilization modeling, etc.

This is a hands-on role and we’re looking for someone who is motivated about what we’re building and eager to grow with our team.

What We’re Looking for in a Candidate

Current or recent MBA graduate with prior experience in digital health, growth marketing, finance, or consulting.

  • A team player who is kind, inclusive, and thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments with strong attention to detail.
  • Enthusiastic and excited to work in an early-stage, high-growth, operationally complex technology startup.
  • Superior project management skills, enjoy owning processes from start to finish and thoughtful about effective kick-offs and smooth transitions / hand-offs
  • Comfortable working in a white space. You thrive working in an environment where you don’t have all the answers and can create structure without a pre-set roadmap. Helpful competencies include: -- Experience working in healthcare and, moreso, knowledge of enterprise sales in digital health. -- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. -- Ability to storytell through analytics and visualization (i.e. slides). -- A strong grasp of marketing & product metrics and drivers.

Important Details

Location: We’re a remote-first team that’s largely based in NYC. We would love to meet in-person, safety permitting, from time to time but remote is fine as long as the candidate is able to work EST.

Compensation: Preference given to those students who have obtained financial support or scholarships from their schools, but if that’s not your situation, just let us know in your email – we believe in paying interns for their work!
