Seel is building a new category of insurance around consumers’ everyday inconveniences (instead of rare catastrophes). We are starting off by underwriting E-commerce returns, which gives online shoppers peace of mind and helps E-commerce merchants increase net revenue. We raised $20M+ from top venture capital firms and are growing rapidly.

Product: We give online shoppers consistent, 30-day refund option everywhere they shop with Return Assurance, and help E-commerce merchants predict net sales with Net Sales Guarantee

Traction: From 1 to 100+ customers in 4 months

Team Size: 25 full-time employees

Location: Distributed. We have offices in San Francisco, Salt Lake City, and Shanghai

The role

We are looking for a hardworking Product Analyst to join our team during an exciting period of growth. In this role, you will analyze product data to make product recommendations, and manage the day-to-day of an assigned product line from concept through product life cycles in order to optimize profit and meet marketing, financial, and growth objectives.

What you will be doing

  • Develop a deep understanding of the product and core technology
  • Analyze our internal and external workflows then convert them into functional requirements for engineering team
  • Derive meaningful takeaways from data and drive better Product outcomes
  • Work with Product Management to translate business questions and desired user behaviors into detailed logging specifications and hypotheses
  • Present regular product performance and usage data updates to the Product department as well as all stakeholders on the executive leadership team
  • Perform market research and analyze consumer behavior and trends

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience as a Product Analyst or Associate Product Manager
  • BA degree or higher, preferably in STEM
  • Experience with SQL, Tableau (or similar BI tools) and Excel
  • Jira/Clubhouse (Shortcut) or any project management tool experience
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills as well as strong analytical skills
  • Commitment to identifying and presenting innovative ideas to improve processes, tools, and performance
