POSITION OVERVIEW
Altamont is looking for candidates to join our Analyst Class of 2022. The Altamont Analyst program provides an accelerated private equity career path for highly qualified undergraduate students who strongly believe that they want to pursue a career in investing. The position is for a start Summer 2022.
The program is designed to be three years in length if joining directly from undergrad and includes extensive training and experience in the skills required to be a successful private equity investor. Training combines tools and concepts drawn from strategy consulting, corporate finance and private equity investing.
This is a generalist program as analysts will work within multiple 3-4 person investment deal teams evaluating and executing new investments, as well as supporting existing portfolio companies with ongoing value creation initiatives across different industries.
The firm’s professional development program is designed to prepare analysts to become an associate at the firm. Those promoted to associate will be at the firm for a full three years, at which point they can go on to graduate school, or by mutual agreement, continue their career at ACP.
