Time Magazine cover depicts the Kremlin overtaking the White House
Tell us what you really think, Time.
The magazine's latest cover depicts St. Basil's Cathedral — meant to represent the Kremlin — overtaking the White House (literally).
The stark cover is paired with Time's story about Russia looming over the Trump administration (figuratively).
Earlier on Thursday, President Trump called the selection of former FBI director Robert Mueller as special counsel to oversee the ongoing Russia investigation as part of "the single greatest witch hunt of a politician in American history" (never mind that the selection was made by deputy attorney general Rod Rosenstein, someone appointed by his administration).
Trump has repeatedly denied that there was collusion between Russia and his campaign. Still, it doesn't help that his associates (Michael Flynn, Carter Page, et al.) continue to be caught up in reports about their links to Russia or that the president himself reportedly disclosed classified information to Russian officials last week.
