Ron DeSantis is an American politician who has served as the Governor of Florida since January 2019. A member of the Republican Party, DeSantis previously represented Florida’s 6th congressional district in the United States House of Representatives from 2013 to 2018. He was born on September 14, 1978, in Jacksonville, Florida, and graduated from Yale University and Harvard Law School.
